Ukrainian Defense Forces Successfully Target Russian Tugboat Near Crimea

The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense (HUR MO) reported a successful attack on a Russian vessel near the coast of temporarily occupied Crimea on June 6.

This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

According to the HUR MO, a special unit carried out the operation, destroying a Project 498 "Saturn" raiding tugboat in the water area of Lake Panske.

"Destructive fire damage was inflicted after a successful breakthrough of the line of defensive barriers of the occupying forces in the Black Sea water area," the department said.

This marks another blow to Russian naval capabilities in the region. Lake Panske is located in the western part of Crimea, near the Uzka Bay, where the HUR's sea drones have already carried out their attacks.
