The US and Ukraine are collaborating on a forceful response to the missile strike on Kyiv’s “Ohmatdyt” Children’s Hospital on July 8. This announcement came from White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.

“The appalling attack on a children’s hospital in Kyiv is a stark reminder of the brutality of the Russian aggression,” Sullivan stated. “The US and Ukraine are working together to address this attack and ensure a strong response,” according to Sullivan.

The details of the planned response remain undisclosed. However, Sullivan’s statement suggests significant measures are being considered, potentially including increased military aid to Ukraine or harsher sanctions on Russia.

The Russian attack on the hospital has sparked international outrage, with many condemning Russia’s targeting of a civilian medical facility with the EU calling it a war crime.
