If Biden Does Not Attend the Peace Summit, Putin Will Celebrate, Said President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy

During his visit to Brussels on May 28, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a comment during a press conference:

"I would very much like Biden to personally attend the 'Peace Summit.' I consider the decision not to attend to be not very strong. Putin will be giving a standing ovation."

It’s been previously reported that US President Joe Biden is likely to miss a Peace Summit in Switzerland in June because of a campaign fundraiser in California. Earlier, the US government has stated that it will participate at the Peace Summit in Switzerland next month, but who will represent the country remains undisclosed.

A Global Peace Summit, initiated by Ukraine, will be held in Switzerland between June 15-16. The summit will take place at the Bürgenstock resort, near the city of Lucerne.

The conference will prioritize Ukraine’s Peace Plan and other proposals aligned with the UN Charter and international law.

Earlier, it was confirmed that over 80 countries will attend the summit.
