President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in the United Kingdom on March 1 to participate in a high-level summit on European security, hosted by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

According to The Guardian, plane with Zelenskyy on board landed at London’s Stansted Airport, where a convoy of vehicles later departed from the tarmac.

The summit, scheduled for March 2, will bring together leaders from over a dozen European countries to discuss security issues related to Russia’s ongoing war against Ukraine and broader regional stability. The event follows security-focused meetings held in Paris on February 17 and 19, organized by French President Emmanuel Macron.

Zelenskyy traveled to the UK after concluding discussions in the United States, where he met with President Donald Trump on February 28.

As reported by The Guardian, the London summit will include trilateral talks between Zelenskyy, Starmer, and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni ahead of broader European discussions. The summit aims to coordinate further support for Ukraine and address strategic defense matters affecting Europe.

Earlier, on February 28, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump in an interview with Fox News' Bret Baier. He expressed gratitude for American support while defending Ukraine’s stance on Russia’s actions. Addressing Trump’s criticism, Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of honesty in discussions and reaffirmed Ukraine’s commitment to seeking peace while maintaining its firm position on Russia.
