Zelenskyy Arrives in UK for European Political Community Summit and Bilateral Talks

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrives in the UK to participate in the summit of the European Political Community and attend bilateral meetings and sign new security agreements with partners.

The European Political Community (EPC) is a forum that was established in 2022 after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, it unites 47 European countries to coordinate their responses to shared issues and concerns. 

On July 18, European leaders will meet at Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, England, for the fourth summit of the European Political Community. 

“A separate program is about our relations with Great Britain. I will meet with His Majesty King Charles III, Prime Minister Keir Starmer, government officials, heads of defense companies,” Zelenskyy wrote on his official social media accounts. 

Zelenskyy noted that from the first days of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Great Britain was one step ahead in its determination to support Ukraine. 

“We will sign an intergovernmental agreement on support for the Ukrainian defense industry, discuss future defense cooperation and the expansion of our defense capabilities,” Zelenskyy added.
