Zelenskyy: Commander Syrskyi Delivers 3 Reports in One Day, With Results Needed by Our Country

"Today there have already been three reports from Commander Syrskyi – reports that are effective. These are exactly the kinds of reports our country needs right now,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in his evening address on August 8.

Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to soldiers and commanders who ensure the protection of Ukrainian positions and the fulfillment of defense tasks.

“Ukrainians know how to achieve their goals. And it is not us who chose to pursue goals in wartime. Russia brought war to our land and should feel the consequences of its actions. We, however, aim to achieve our goals as soon as possible in peacetime – under conditions of just peace. And it will be so,” he said.

The President also reported regarding the supply of weapons and equipment to Ukrainian army. “We are working to ensure that these supplies are consistently timely. Also reporting today was the head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Maliuk – on our operations and the delicate work of the Security Service, which protects Ukrainians from Russian diversions and attempts at sabotage within our state," Zelenskyy concluded.
