Zelenskyy: "Replenishment of Exchange Fund, Capturing Occupiers" Especially Successful in Past 3 Days

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his evening address stated that over the past three days, the replenishment of the prisoner exchange fund has been "particularly effective."

“I would like to separately thank our soldiers and units who are contributing to the replenishment of the exchange fund—capturing occupiers and thereby helping to free our people from Russian captivity. This is extremely important, and over the past three days, it has been especially successful,” Zelenskyy said.

“Additionally, there were reports from the Foreign Intelligence Service and the Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) regarding the near-term prospects, capabilities, and objectives of the terrorist state. We are working on further restricting Russia's ability to conduct this war.

Specifically, there was a report on our long-range drones. The Head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Maliuk, reported on their use. Thanks for the accuracy! We are expanding this capability. It has become a real strategic sector of our defense industry—one that will always serve Ukraine.”

The Commander of the Air Force also reported on strengthening air defense. Minister of Internal Affairs Klymenko reported on the security preparations of Ukrainian schools for the new academic year. “We are assisting regional and local authorities to ensure that in all communities where possible, children will be able to attend school in person,” said Zelenskyy.
