Zelenskyy: Russia Amassing Up to 150,000 Troops in Belarus for Training

This year, Russia plans to prepare 15 divisions for training and reinforcement along the Belarusian front, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated on February 14 during a press briefing at the Munich Security Conference.
“This year already, Russia will prepare 15 divisions for training and reinforcement along the Belarusian front. We believe that all or part of these forces will be stationed in Belarus. This amounts to a massive force of 100,000 to 150,000 troops,” Zelenskyy added after saying that Russia would attack Ukraine again if no security guarantees were provided to Kyiv.
“I’m not certain whether this group will launch an offensive against Ukraine—it’s a possibility, but I can’t say for sure. I’m not trying to alarm anyone; they could move toward Ukraine, but it remains unclear.”
The Ukrainian President noted that these troops might invade other European countries.
“The same as it was in 2022, they can go forward to Ukraine, or they can go to Poland or to the Baltics and I think this is his [Putin’s] idea. And I think, from what I’ve got from intelligence, I think he is preparing a war against NATO next year. I think so, but I don’t know. God bless, we will stop this crazy guy and win that war,” Zelenskyy said.
During the same briefing, Zelenskyy stated that Russia continues to deepen its military ties with North Korea, showing no intention of pausing its war effort.
