Antonov State Enterprise

Ukrainian state aircraft manufacturer founded in 1946, creator of the legendary An-124 heavy cargo aircraft and the AN-225 Mriya — the world's largest aircraft, destroyed by Russian forces at Hostomel Airport on 27 February 2022. During the full-scale war, Antonov has shifted focus to cargo support for Ukraine's defense supply chain and the development of unmanned logistics aircraft. The destruction of the AN-225 became one of the most visible symbols of Russia's assault on Ukrainian infrastructure.
