Ukrainian National Guard brigade founded in March 2022 by volunteers defending the Kharkiv region, led initially by billionaire agribusinessman Vsevolod Kozhemyako. Known for rejecting Soviet-era command structures and implementing NATO standards and data-driven warfare. The only Ukrainian volunteer unit present at the Battle of Bakhmut. Expanded into the 2nd Khartiia Corps in April 2025; recognized as one of the three most effective corps in Ukraine's new corps-based army structure.
