His first bilateral meeting as PM was with President Zelenskyy on 27 July 2026, pledging "unwavering support" for Ukraine — "100 per cent." Committed to honour all UK military commitments to Ukraine in full and announced transfer of the "Stone Cloak" electronic warfare system's intellectual property to Ukraine. Has personally supported Ukrainian cities through the Unbroken Cities Network since 2022.
