Acting Head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) since 17 July 2026, appointed by President Zelenskyy following the transfer of Yevhen Khmara to the Defence Ministry. Previously served as First Deputy Head of the SBU and head of the SBU Counterintelligence Department since 2021. Hero of Ukraine (2025). Led a sweeping personnel overhaul across nine regional SBU branches within his first month in office. His office was targeted by a Russian drone strike in central Kyiv in September 2026.
