Donald Tusk

Prime Minister of Poland since December 2023 and former President of the European Council (2014–2019). One of Ukraine's strongest and most vocal European allies — Poland under Tusk hosts the largest Ukrainian refugee population in Europe (over 1 million), provides substantial military aid, and is the main transit corridor for NATO weapons deliveries to Ukraine. In 2026, Tusk increased Poland's defense spending to 5% of GDP and pushed for stronger EU and NATO commitments to Ukraine's security guarantees.
