Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,370 Troops and 92 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russian forces lost another 1,370 troops, three tanks, and 92 artillery systems over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on July 21.
Russia’s total estimated personnel losses since the start of its full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have now reached approximately 1,431,900 troops killed or wounded.

Ukraine also reported the destruction of seven armored combat vehicles, two multiple launch rocket systems, two air defense systems, five UGVs, 1,865 operational-tactical drones, 453 vehicles and fuel tankers, and eight pieces of special equipment.
Russia’s cumulative equipment losses now stand at 12,161 tanks, 24,978 armored combat vehicles, 46,435 artillery systems, 1,955 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,513 air defense systems, 438 aircraft, 354 helicopters, 1,970 UGVs, 420,290 operational-tactical drones, 4,933 cruise missiles, 34 ships and boats, two submarines, 123,347 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,441 pieces of special equipment.

Ukraine’s General Staff recorded 217 combat engagements across the front over the past day.
Russian forces launched two missile strikes using two missiles and carried out 78 airstrikes, dropping 254 guided aerial bombs. They also deployed 10,408 one-way attack drones and conducted 3,346 attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, including 38 with multiple launch rocket systems.
Previously, Ukraine’s Security Service said that its special operations forces struck a Russian Federal Security Service base in the temporarily occupied part of Ukraine’s Kherson region, where around 100 Russian personnel were believed to be stationed.
