Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,410 Troops, 10 Tanks, and 76 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russian forces lost another 1,410 troops, 10 tanks, six armored combat vehicles, and 76 artillery systems over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on July 24.

Russia’s total estimated personnel losses since launching its full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have now reached approximately 1,436,100 troops killed or wounded.

Ukraine also reported the destruction of seven multiple launch rocket systems, one air defense system, one aircraft, 12 UGVs, 1,652 operational-tactical UAVs, two cruise missiles, 544 vehicles and fuel tankers, and one piece of special equipment.

Russia’s cumulative equipment losses now stand at 12,201 tanks, 25,000 armored combat vehicles, 46,646 artillery systems, 1,968 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,516 air defense systems, 439 aircraft, 354 helicopters, 2,006 UGVs, 425,240 operational-tactical UAVs, 4,938 cruise missiles, 34 ships and boats, two submarines, 124,787 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,454 pieces of special equipment.

Ukraine’s General Staff recorded 233 combat engagements between Ukrainian and Russian forces over the past day.

Recently, Ukraine’s Phoenix unmanned systems unit destroyed a Russian Buk-M3 air defense system with a single low-cost drone while the launcher was moving through the Donetsk region.

Ukrainian officials said one drone costing only several thousand dollars was enough to eliminate an air defense asset valued at roughly $50 million.
