According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on October 4, the Buk-M3 surface-to-air missile system was hit near Kuroshany in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region.
Ukrainian forces also struck a site near temporarily occupied Donetsk where Russian forces stored, prepared, and launched attack drones.
The General Staff described such facilities as priority targets because of their role in Russian drone operations against Ukraine. “Systematic strikes on such facilities are aimed at reducing the Russian Federation’s ability to use strike drones against Ukraine’s civilian population,” the General Staff said.

Elsewhere, Ukrainian forces struck a Russian electronic warfare station near Klimovo in Russia’s Bryansk region. Russian telecommunications nodes were also hit near Hirnyk, Yasynuvata, and Donetsk in the Donetsk region, according to the General Staff.
In the temporarily occupied Luhansk region, Ukrainian forces targeted Russian repair units near Vesela Tarasivka and Lysychansk.
Earlier on October 4, drones targeted Russia’s Khanskaya military airfield in the Republic of Adygea, where Su-34 and Su-35 fighter jets are based, with open-source footage showing a fire near the facility.
