Ukraine’s Frontline Combat Rewards Program Drives $1 Billion in Military Tech Orders

Ukrainian military units have placed approximately $1 billion worth of orders for defense technologies through the Brave1 Market during the first year of its combat rewards program, according to Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense and the Brave1 defense technology cluster on August 5.

The milestone comes one year after the updated e-Baly (“e-Points”) system was integrated with the state-run defense marketplace, allowing frontline commanders to exchange points earned through verified combat missions for drones, electronic warfare equipment, ground robots, and other military technologies.
According to the Ministry of Defense and Brave1, more than 400 Ukrainian military units have received around 500,000 systems, including unmanned aerial vehicles, ground robotic platforms, and electronic warfare (EW) and electronic intelligence (ELINT) equipment through the program.
Officials said Ukrainian service members accumulate e-Points by completing verified combat missions, including reconnaissance, logistics operations, casualty evacuations, and strikes against Russian forces. Those points can then be exchanged for equipment available through the Brave1 Market platform.
Brave1 and the Ministry of Defense said the marketplace currently offers more than 1,100 defense products. The average delivery time for equipment that is already in stock has been reduced to seven days, down from 10 to 14 days when the updated system was launched in August 2025.
In a joint statement, the organizations described the integration of e-Points with the marketplace as a significant change to Ukraine’s military procurement model.
In a joint statement, Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense and the Brave1 defense technology cluster said: “This became a real revolution in the world of defense procurement: we effectively integrated market mechanisms into what had previously been a closed state system, allowing field commanders for the first time to independently choose the equipment their units need.”
Brave1 also announced the launch of new analytical dashboards that allow manufacturers to monitor the battlefield performance of their drones and ground robotic systems. According to the organization, developers can see how many missions their products have completed, their effectiveness rankings, and which military units are using them.
The Ministry of Defense and Brave1 said future updates will include customized drone procurement options, an expanded product catalog, and additional analytical capabilities.
The latest milestone builds on the rapid growth of Brave1 Market. In June alone, Ukrainian military units placed a record $111 million in orders for drones, ground robotic systems, and electronic warfare equipment through the platform—the highest monthly total since the eBaly program launched in August 2025.
