A worldwide call to action

One of the largest global initiatives, “Stand With Ukraine! Unite for Ukrainian Victory!”, led by the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC), will organize a powerful global action, “Global Alarm,” during which Ukrainian communities worldwide will sound an air raid siren, reminding the world that the war is far from over. This symbolic act serves as a wake-up call, urging continued international support and action.

Alongside Global Alarm, UWC registered over 450 events on the campaign platform across 330 cities in 50 countries. These include rallies, cultural events, exhibitions, and educational discussions, ensuring that Ukraine’s fight for freedom remains at the forefront of global attention.

Mass Rally: Marking Three Years of Full-Scale Invasion

The largest American-Ukrainian organizations—US Ukrainian Activists, Razom for Ukraine, United Help Ukraine, Ukraine House, and the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America, in cooperation with the Embassy of Ukraine in the USA—are calling on everyone to join a mass rally in Washington, D.C. to mark the third anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The rally aims to show solidarity and advocate for continued support for Ukraine.

United States, New York

“Your Letters” – A Theatrical Tribute to Ukraine’s Fallen Heroes

Date: February 23, 2025

Time: 20:00 – 22:00 (8 - 10pm)

Location: Ukrainian National Home, 140 2nd Avenue New York, NY 10003

“Your Letters” is a theatrical performance that brings to life real letters to Ukrainian servicemen, some of which were never delivered. It provides a space to share words left unsaid and acknowledge the sacrifices of those defending Ukraine.

This evening is dedicated to all Fallen Heroes of Ukraine, with a special tribute to Zakhar Nechypor—an actor and soldier who went missing in action.

All proceeds from the event will go toward purchasing quadcopters to support Ukrainian defenders on the front lines.

Canada, Toronto

Public Lecture: His Beatitude Sviatoslav and Timothy Snyder

His Beatitude Sviatoslav, Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, and Timothy Snyder, a renowned American historian, will discuss the ethical and religious aspects of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. The conversation will explore Judeo-Christian ethical foundations as potential pathways to peace.

Official Public Event & Concert on Trafalgar Square

To mark the third anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, an official public event will take place in London, uniting British and Ukrainian leaders, activists, and allies who have supported Ukraine throughout the war. The gathering will culminate in a live performance by the popular Ukrainian band Antytila.

This event is supported by a coalition of Ukrainian organizations in the UK under the patronage of the Embassy of Ukraine in the United Kingdom, reinforcing international solidarity and unwavering support for Ukraine’s fight for freedom.

Společně za Ukrajinu Rally

Date: February 23, 2025

Location: Old Town Square

The Czech rally aims to honor Ukrainian resilience and encourage continued support for Ukraine. Organized by civic groups, the event brings together Czech citizens and the Ukrainian community in solidarity and remembrance. Czech President Petr Pavel is expected to deliver a speech.

Following the rally, the Hlas Ukrajiny (“The Voice of Ukraine”) commemorative march will move through the historic streets of Prague, ending at the Taras Shevchenko Monument in memory of those who were killed by Russian aggression.Other events will take place across Czechia.

Poland, Warsaw

Rally in Solidarity with Ukraine

This rally is a call to action, urging everyone in Warsaw to stand with Ukraine in a show of unity and determination. They emphasize—do not forget to bring your Ukrainian flag!

March to Rustaveli Avenue

Georgia, with its own history of resistance, stands firmly in solidarity with Ukraine. This gathering will honor Ukraine’s resilience and pay tribute to the Georgian fighters who made the ultimate sacrifice. Organizers emphasize that the outcome of this war will not only define the future of Europe but also directly impact Georgia’s security.

The event will culminate in a march to Rustaveli Avenue, a powerful symbol of unity and a reminder that Ukraine’s fight is also Georgia’s fight.

Before the march to Rustaveli Avenue, attendees can take part in a special event, “Path to Renewal – Support & Opportunities for Ukrainians”, running from 14:00 to 19:00 at Rooms Hotel Tbilisi. The event will feature a screening of “People of Steel”, a discussion panel “War and Its Heroes – Their Experience & Stories”, a charity auction, and a Ukrainian Business Fair showcasing local entrepreneurs.

Latvia, Riga

Charity Concert: “From Heart to Ukraine”

Location: National Library of Latvia (“Ziedonis Hall”)

A charity concert titled “From Heart to Ukraine” will be held at the National Library of Latvia. The event is organized in collaboration with the Embassy of Ukraine in Latvia.The concert will feature performances by prominent Latvian and Ukrainian artists. All proceeds will be donated to support children affected by Russia’s war against Ukraine.

Alongside the “From Heart to Ukraine” charity concert, Riga will host several commemorative events, including the “Love and War” installation (Feb 24-26, Town Hall Square), showcasing stories of war-affected Ukrainians through art, and the “Three Years of Resilience” photo exhibition (Feb 24 – Mar 16, Freedom Square) by Vlada and Kostyantyn Liberov, depicting the realities of war. From Feb 20-27, Ukrainian flags and banners will also be displayed citywide.
