Support for Ukraine is more important now than ever. Here’s a list of where you can celebratre Ukrainian Independence Day around the world.
Saturday, August 24th, is Ukraine's Independence Day and all around the world Ukrainians, and supporters of Ukraine, will celebrate the country’s freedom. In the past few years, community celebrations have become an important way of building support and continued awareness.
Below is a list of Independence Day celebrations by country—though there are undoubtedly thousands more not included on this list. If you find yourself near one, go! Eat varenyky and show support to Ukrainians in your community. As Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, says “I am a drop in the ocean. " When we all act together, no matter how small the action, we become a powerful force.
Australia
