In February, around 100 Ukrainian military units reported the destruction of 9,000 enemy targets using the Army+ application, with confirmation from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The “Report on Defeat” initiative, launched at the beginning of 2025, has streamlined the process of digital reporting on combat outcomes. The reports are submitted via smartphone, enabling the military to quickly record and analyze each instance of successful hits, whether infantry or equipment.

“Each fact of destruction, from infantry to equipment, is recorded in a single combat system. You can submit a report simply on a smartphone, and confirmed data forms analytics for the General Staff.

This allows you to make quick decisions, more effectively manage troops, and destroy the enemy. Digitalization and analytics are the path to victory on the battlefield,” said Ukrainian Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov.

Each report undergoes verification. Verified data from all participating units is consolidated into a digital summary of combat operations. This analytics-driven approach allows the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to make informed decisions regarding troop deployment and military strategy in real-time.

“The first results of reporting on defeats indicate that this tool was necessary for the military. It is already actively used by brigades such as Charter or Rarog, and the number of brigades willing to join reporting through Army+ is growing every day,” said Kateryna Chernogorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digitalization.

Both DELTA and Army+ have established a robust information protection system. The data is constantly monitored and secured by specialized government teams to ensure the integrity of the information.

Earlier this year, Ukraine’s development of advanced electronic warfare systems and drone technologies proved crucial in modern warfare. The DELTA situational awareness system, which integrates multiple data sources for battlefield management, highlights Ukraine’s ability to rapidly innovate and upgrade systems under pressure.
