Ukrainian Ministry of Defense Unveils 'Army+' App to Modernize Military Communication
On Thursday, August 8, Ukrainian Ministry of Defense officially launched the "Army+" app, designed for military personnel. With its help, soldiers will be able to send electronic reports to their commanders, reducing the amount of paperwork.
The app's presentation, organized by the Ministry of Defense, was attended by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
The President emphasized that the goal of the app this year is to free the Ukrainian army from tedious paperwork, so commanders and soldiers do not waste their time on outdated and unnecessary bureaucracy and form-filling.
In the future, according to the President, new features will be added to the app to help military personnel "meet all their necessary social and communication needs while in service." Among other things, the app will include courses and training programs.
The app can be downloaded from the Google Play and App Store. Only military personnel will be able to log in.
