On December 4, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov held a live Q&A session in Grozny, the capital of Chechnya, Russia, arriving at the event in a foreign armored infantry vehicle accompanied by 12 Ukrainian prisoners of war.

During the broadcast, Kadyrov suggested that one of the prisoners take a pistol and shoot himself.

“If you are such a warrior. Shall I give you a pistol now so you can shoot yourself? You came here to kill and die. I will give you a pistol, and you can die like a hero. You don’t want to, do you? He wants to kill but doesn’t want to die himself,” Kadyrov said during the live stream.

In response, the Ukrainian prisoner of war proposed a call for peace, stating, “Let’s stop the senseless destruction of the Ukrainian and Russian people and begin negotiations.”
