Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,230 Troops, 29 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russian forces lost 1,230 troops over the past 24 hours, according to Ukraine’s General Staff on April 25, as fighting remained intense across the front line.

According to the update, total Russian losses since the start of the full-scale invasion in February 2022 have reached approximately 1,324,690 personnel.
Alongside personnel losses, Russian forces also lost additional equipment during the same period. Ukrainian officials reported the destruction of 13 armored combat vehicles, 29 artillery systems, 1,257 operational-tactical drones, 166 vehicles and fuel tankers, and two pieces of special military equipment.
Overall, Ukraine estimates that Russian forces have lost 11,892 tanks and more than 24,400 armored vehicles since the beginning of the invasion. According to the General Staff, the intensity of combat remains high across the battlefield.

During the past 24 hours, Ukrainian and Russian forces engaged in 236 combat clashes, the report said. Russian forces also continued active assault operations and fire missions across multiple directions.
On the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk axes, Russian troops carried out airstrikes using guided aerial bombs and conducted over a hundred attacks on Ukrainian positions.
The heaviest fighting was recorded on the Pokrovsk direction, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 63 assault attempts. Additional clashes were reported across the Kupiansk, Lyman, Kramatorsk, and Kostiantynivka directions, as well as in southern sectors including Huliaipole and the Dnipro river area.
Earlier, Ukraine confirmed strikes on a Russian drone manufacturing facility in Taganrog and a Project 22460 patrol vessel in occupied Sevastopol. Neptune missiles hit the Atlant Aero plant, damaging multiple production buildings involved in manufacturing Molniya-series drones, while a separate operation struck a Russian border service ship, damaging its combat control section.
