Daily Update: Russia Loses 890 Troops, 4 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russian forces lost an estimated 890 personnel and four artillery systems over the past 24 hours, according to figures released by Ukraine’s General Staff on February 17.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, Russia’s total estimated combat losses have reached approximately 1,255,340 troops.

armored combat vehicles: 24,045 (+3);
artillery systems: 37,323 (+4);
MLRS: 1,648 (no change);
air defense systems: 1,301 (no change);
aircraft: 435 (no change);
helicopters: 347 (no change);
operational-tactical UAVs: 136,073 (+614);
cruise missiles: 4,288 (+2);
warships and boats: 29 (no change);
submarines: 2 (no change);
vehicles and fuel tankers: 78,725 (+71);
special equipment: 4,071 (no change).

Separately, the General Staff reported 201 combat engagements across the front line during the same period.
Earlier, a senior NATO official said that Russia lost approximately 1.3 million troops killed or wounded since launching its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
