Daily Update: Russia Loses 950 Troops, 13 Tanks and 73 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russian forces lost 950 troops, 13 tanks, two air defense systems, and four multiple launch rocket systems over the past day, according to the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces on March 10.
The latest battlefield report also updates Russia’s total estimated losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022.

According to the Ukrainian military, Russia has lost approximately:
1,274,990 personnel (+950 in the past day);
11,758 tanks (+13);
24,174 armored combat vehicles (+7);
38,202 artillery systems (+73);
1,679 multiple launch rocket systems (+4);
1,328 air defense systems (+2);
435 aircraft (no change);
349 helicopters (no change);
168,809 operational-tactical drones (+2,169);
4,403 cruise missiles (no change);
31 warships or boats (no change);
2 submarines (no change);
82,510 military vehicles and fuel tankers (+221);
4,087 units of special equipment (+4).
The General Staff also reported 130 combat engagements across the front line during the past 24 hours.

The heaviest Russian assault activity was recorded in several eastern sectors, particularly around Pokrovsk, Huliaipole and Kostiantynivka, where Ukrainian forces reported the highest number of attacks.
Operational information released by the General Staff at 8:00 a.m. on March 10 also outlined the scale of Russian strikes carried out the previous day.

According to the report, Russian forces launched two missile strikes using three missiles, carried out 90 airstrikes, and dropped 251 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, Russian forces deployed 9,812 strike drones and carried out 3,887 attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, including 84 strikes using multiple launch rocket systems.
Earlier, the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine’s Armed Forces reclaimed 460 square kilometers of territory since the start of 2026.
