The Danish Ministry of Defense announced that the country’s government has held consultations with the Foreign Policy Committee on the 25th aid package to Ukraine, totaling 6.7 billion Danish kroner (approximately $970 million).

This was stated in a press release by Denmark’s Ministry of Defense.

The new aid package aims to provide military support to Ukraine from 2025 through 2027 and will be financed through the Ukraine Fund .

Key elements of the package include air defense systems, artillery, and financial support for Ukraine’s Air Force.

“The security situation is evolving rapidly. That’s why it’s crucial for Denmark to continue its substantial support for Ukraine,” said Minister of Defense Troels Lund Poulsen.

“From the beginning of the war, Denmark has been one of the countries that has led the way in donation work. With the 25th donation package, we emphasize our support for Ukraine in both the short and long term.”

Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen emphasized that the new aid package will strengthen Ukraine’s combat capabilities.

“Ukraine’s security is critical to the future of all of Europe. I hope our support will inspire other allies to step up their assistance even further,” he stressed.

The Aviationist reported on April 1 that Royal Danish Air Force’s F-35A fighter jets scrambled last week to intercept and shadow a Russian Il-20 Coot-A reconnaissance aircraft over the Baltic Sea.
