The footage shows a drone diving into a building inside the base, followed by a bright explosion. A separate photo posted by the same community appears to show a severely damaged three-story structure believed to house Russian personnel.

The strike reportedly targeted facilities used by the 78th Sever-Akhmat Motorized Regiment, a special-purpose unit formed in September 2022 on Kadyrov’s orders. The regiment is subordinate to Russia’s 42nd Guards Motor Rifle Division and has been actively deployed in Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Russia has not publicly commented on the incident, and no casualty numbers have been independently confirmed. If verified, this would be one of the deepest strikes yet on Chechen territory since the start of the war.

Earlier, Ukrainian military intelligence conducted a sabotage operation against Russian occupation forces near Berdyansk in Ukraine’s southeastern Zaporizhzhia region, targeting members of the “Akhmat” unit allegedly involved in illegal fuel trafficking.
