Drone Strike Hits Oil Depot in Russia's Voronezh Region, Causing Major Fire
Drones targeted an oil depot in Russia's Voronezh region on the evening of January 15, causing substantial damage, according to reports from the Telegram channel Astra and local residents.
A video shared by local residents claims that three drones struck an oil depot, causing a fire.
Reports indicate that the targeted site was an oil depot near the town of Liski in the Voronezh region, located approximately 150 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
The attack was later confirmed by the region's governor, Alexander Gusev.
“As a result of multiple drone impacts in one of the districts, a fire broke out at the oil depot,” Gusev stated.
Previously, operators of the 14th Separate Regiment of Unmanned Aerial Systems, in coordination with other components of Ukraine's Defense Forces, struck the infrastructure of the ‘Engels-2’ military airfield near Russia’s Saratov during the night of January 13-14.
