Drone strikes hit an oil depot in the village of Stalnoy Kon near the city of Oryol, Russia, during the night of December 21-22, causing a fire at the fuel infrastructure site, according to Oryol Region Governor Andrei Klychkov.

Local residents reported seeing an unidentified drone flying over residential buildings toward the depot before hearing explosions and witnessing a large blaze. The affected facility, part of the Stalnoy Kon oil depot, is situated approximately 110 kilometers from the Ukrainian border and is a key component of the regional fuel supply chain.

The depot, owned by Transnefteprodukt JSC, plays a critical role in the Druzhba oil pipeline network, linking to facilities in Bryansk and other regions.

Earlier, on the night of December 19, drones struck the Novoshakhtinsk Oil Refinery in the Rostov region, causing a significant fire. Local residents described hearing explosions for approximately 40 minutes and reported gunfire as Russian forces attempted to intercept the drones.
