Drones Strike Krymsk Military Airbase in Russia’s Krasnodar Region
In the early hours of November 15, a Krymsk military airfield, located in Russia’s Krasnodar region, was struck by drones, reported Andrii Kovalenko, head of the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council’s Center for Countering Disinformation on November 15.
The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the attack, claiming that their air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 51 Ukrainian drones, 36 of which were downed over the Krasnodar region.
However, Sergey Les, the head of the Krymsky district, stated that 46 drones were shot down in the area, though he later deleted his statement, according to the Russian Telegram channel Astra.
Les emphasized there were no casualties in the district.
Krasnodar Governor Veniamin Kondratyev reported the interception of “several dozen” drones over the Krymsky and Krasnoarmeysky districts.
In Krymsk, debris landed on four residential properties, while in the Krasnoarmeysky district, fragments damaged the roof of a private house in the village of Poltavskaya.
Earlier, Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a targeted strike on a Russian ammunition depot in the Bryansk region, setting it on fire.
