During NATO Forum, Ukraine’s Head of Presidential Office Tells of Potential 'Game-Changers' in the War

Head of Ukraine's Presidential Office, Andrii Yermak, stated that permitting the use of long-range weapons in Russia's rear areas will alter the course of the war. This was stated at a discussion at the NATO Public Forum.

Yermak identified a key change that, in his opinion, Ukraine's Western partners should implement.

The head of the Presidential Office believes that changes on the front lines will be possible when "partners remove all restrictions on the use of weapons, including deep into Russian territory."

"I believe this will be a real game-changer, and I hope that our partners will understand this as soon as possible," explained Yermak.

He reminded that Russia does not have restrictions on strikes "on hospitals and schools in Ukraine," but did not specify which targets the Armed Forces of Ukraine consider most important for changing the dynamics of the war.

Earlier, the NATO Secretary General stated at the summit that Ukraine's right to self-defense includes strikes deep into Russian territory. It’s been reported that the United States is currently discussing such permission with Ukraine.
