EU ambassadors approved a tranche of macro-financial aid for Ukraine in the amount of nearly €4.2 billion under the Ukraine Facility program, aimed at supporting Ukraine's macro-financial stability and the functioning of its state administration.
This was reported on the official page of the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the EU 2024.
Funding will be allocated within the framework of the Ukraine Facility program, the European Union’s financial assistance program for Ukraine, which will provide a total of €50 billion during 2024-2027.
The decision has yet to be approved by the Council of the EU.
