On February 19, France expressed confusion over U.S. President Donald Trump’s comments blaming Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for Russia’s invasion and the ongoing three-year war, according to Reuters.

“We don’t understand the logic very well,” said French government spokesperson Sophie Primas. She described Trump’s remarks as “diverse, varied, and often incomprehensible,” highlighting the inconsistency in his statements regarding Ukraine.

Primas emphasized that the unexpected nature of Trump’s comments left European partners puzzled.
