Germany’s Rheinmetall Supplies Mobile Medical Station to Ukraine Alongside Troop Training

German defense giant Rheinmetall has handed over another mobile rescue station to Ukraine, further strengthening frontline medical capabilities.
According to the company`s statement, published on July 11, the modular system includes three cargo trailers, each equipped with two container modules featuring expandable sections. Once deployed, these sections transform into a fully functional medical facility with designated zones for triage, emergency care, X-ray diagnostics, surgery, and intensive care.
This field hospital can be quickly transported, set up, and made operational—providing critical care where it's needed most.
Ukrainian military medics have already completed specialized training at Rheinmetall Mobile Systeme GmbH in Meckenbeuren. The program focused on both the operation of the mobile units and the use of essential medical and technical equipment, including ventilators, X-ray machines, monitoring systems, and surgical tools.

Personnel also trained in rapid deployment, patient care procedures, and coordination between medical teams—skills that can save lives under pressure.
“The Ukrainian soldiers participated in the training in a highly professional and committed manner”, said Armin Krenn, CEO of Rheinmetall Mobile Systeme GmbH. “Especially under the current operational conditions, safe handling of the systems and of the medical equipment is crucial for saving lives on the front line”.
Rheinmetall confirmed that additional units and training sessions are in the pipeline, with deliveries expected through the end of 2026.
Earlier, it was reported that Ukraine deployed its first mobile drone repair workshops to the frontlines, equipped with autonomous containerized workspaces, tools, and 3D printing capabilities to maintain UAVs on site.
