India's Security Advisor to Visit Russia for Peace Talks on Ukraine
India’s National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval is planning to visit Russia in September to discuss peace efforts regarding Ukraine.
India Today reported that NSA Ajit Doval will visit Moscow on September 10-11, where he will meet Vladimir Putin, engage in peace talks aimed at resolving the war, and take part in the BRICS-NSA meeting.
It is also planned that Doval will also engage in bilateral talks with his Russian and Chinese counterparts.
On August 23, 2024, India’s PM Narendra Modi visited Kyiv where he met with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and stated that India has never been neutral, and from day one was on the side of peace.
