Iranian Missiles Destroyed in Strike on Ammunition Depot in Russia’s Volgograd Region, General Staff Reports

The Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully struck the military arsenal “Kotluban,” located in Volgograd region, where, according to the information available to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, an echelon with Iranian missiles had arrived the day before. Despite dense coverage by electronic warfare and air defense systems, Ukrainian units accomplished their combat mission.

According to General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, fire and detonation of munitions are observed at the arsenal site. The operation was conducted by drone systems in cooperation with Special Operations Forces, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, and the Security Service of Ukraine.

Earlier today, explosions and fires were reported this morning across several regions of Russia, likely due to drone attacks on strategic military facilities. Eyewitnesses noted explosions in Yeysk, Krasnodar region, and other areas, suggesting damage to military installations. Local authorities reported ongoing incidents, though details remain unverified.
