The next Ukraine Recovery Conference is set to be held in Rome on July 10-11, 2025, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni announced following her meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Rai News reported on October 11.
This event follows similar conferences in London in 2023 and Berlin in 2024, all focused on rallying international support for Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction and recovery.
“Ukraine is not alone; we will stand by its side for as long as it takes,” Meloni stated.
“The goal of our support is to put Ukraine in the best possible position to come to the peace table. Peace, as I have repeatedly said, cannot mean capitulation, as many cowardly suggest,” Meloni added.
“Focusing on future peace and prosperity also means focusing on reconstruction, and I’m pleased to announce that the 'Ukraine Recovery Conference' will take place in Rome on July 10 and 11, 2025,” said Italian PM after her talks with Zelenskyy.
Zelenskyy’s visit to Italy is part of a larger European tour, which includes visits to the UK, France, and the Vatican.
On October 11, he is also set to meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz as Ukraine intensifies its efforts to secure international support for its five-step victory strategy.
