Lithuania has delivered a new military aid package to Ukraine, including trucks, thermal imaging devices, and other equipment for the armed forces.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Lithuania on February 19, stating that the €80 million support package, presented at last week’s Ramstein meeting, directly addresses Ukraine’s most urgent defense needs.

At the same time, the press release did not provide any more details on the delivered aid.

The Lithuanian Defense Ministry added that key support priorities for Ukraine this year will include air defense, ammunition, drones, and anti-drone systems to address urgent needs.

“Efforts will focus on developing Lithuania’s defense industry and financing Ukrainian-made weapons to strengthen Ukraine’s defense sector,” the ministry stated in the press release.

Since the start of the war, Lithuania has supplied Ukraine with over €769 million in military aid, the Ministry reported. It added that Lithuania’s total long-term support for Ukraine has surpassed €1.5 billion.

On February 9, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia successfully synchronized their power grids with continental Europe, marking a historic step toward complete energy independence from Russia.
