Medvedev Threatens Europe with “Punishment by All Available Means”
Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, has used his Telegram channel to issue a harsh statement against Europe.
In his post, Medvedev called for Europe to be “punished by all available means—political, economic, and hybrid,” citing this specific incident as a major factor in his stance. He further expressed his disdain for the West, accusing Europe of escalating anti-Russian sentiment, which he claims has led to the collapse of diplomatic efforts and a destructive sanctions campaign.
“Europe must be punished by all means available to us: political, economic and all kinds of hybrid means. And that is why it is necessary to help any destructive processes in Europe. Long live the aggressive pogromists on its historic streets! Long live the crowds of migrants who commit atrocities and hatefully destroy the rainbow European values! May all the disgusting faces of European bureaucrats disappear in the stream of future civil clashes,” Medvedev stated.
In his message, Medvedev also emphasized the need to support any “destructive processes” within Europe, referencing the ongoing geopolitical tensions between Russia and the West. He declared that Europe, as the main proponent of Russian hostility on the global stage, deserves to face consequences for its actions.
Earlier, Medvedev responded sharply to a German Bild article about Russia’s Kursk region. He suggested that Russia might deploy its newest tanks to Berlin in retaliation for what he deemed Germany’s “revanchist sentiments.” Medvedev’s remarks followed Germany’s approval for Ukraine to use German-supplied weapons, including Leopard 2 tanks.
