Moldova Reports Power Disruptions Due to Russia's Massive Strike on Ukraine's Infrastructure

Moldova's state enterprise Moldelectrica reported disruptions in the power system as a result of Russia's massive attack on Ukraine's critical infrastructure.

"Moldelectrica informs about interruptions in the energy system of the common Ukraine-Moldova block as a result of attacks on critically important Ukrainian infrastructure. Now the situation is under control. We have enough local generation to cope with minor outages," the company said.

On the morning of August 26, Russia launched a massive missile attack across all Ukrainian regions, targeting energy and civilian infrastructure, including the Kyiv Hydroelectric Power Plant.
