The Netherlands has provided Ukraine with a radar system for the Patriot air defense system and will soon deliver three launchers.

This was reported by Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brakelmans, as quoted by De Gelderlander.

Brakelmans added that other countries are still working to provide additional components needed to complete the system.

“We are still working on this,” Brakelmans said, noting that negotiations are ongoing with “several partners.”

At the end of June, it was announced that the Netherlands, together with another allied country, would provide Ukraine with a complete Patriot air defense system. The Netherlands emphasized that it was prepared to supply the "main" components, while other parts were to be provided by other countries.

Previously on September 2, the upper chamber of the Romanian Parliament, the Senate, approved the government’s draft law to transfer the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system to Ukraine.
