The Telegraph has launched a new outdoor advertising campaign drawing attention to the broader regional implications of the war in Ukraine.

A billboard spotted in the UK reads:
“Ever heard of Riga, Tallinn, or Vilnius? If we abandon Kyiv, you will.”

The campaign references the capitals of Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania—three NATO member states bordering Russia—and suggests that reduced support for Ukraine could have wider consequences for European security.

The billboard includes The Telegraph’s branding and its slogan “We Speak Your Mind.” It appears to be part of a broader effort to engage public attention on issues of international security and the ongoing war in Ukraine.

Russia has repeatedly issued political and military threats toward the Baltic states—Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania—raising concerns among NATO members. These threats have included aggressive rhetoric, cyberattacks, and increased military activity near their borders.

The Baltic states, all former Soviet republics and now part of both NATO and the EU, view Russia’s invasion of Ukraine as a potential warning for their own security and have called for sustained Western deterrence measures.

The Telegraph is a daily newspaper based in the United Kingdom. Originally founded in 1855 by Arthur Sleigh as The Daily Telegraph and Courier, it now has a daily circulation of over 634,000 copies. The publication is owned by brothers David and Frederick Barclay.
