Governor of Tambov Region, Maksim Yegorov, stated on Telegram that the incident involved 11 drones, resulting in a fire due to an explosion.

Residents online reported the fire near the village of Novonikolskoe, specifically around a Transneft-Druzhba dispatch station, close to the Michurinsk oil refinery. The Russian Defense Ministry reported that, over the course of the night, air defense intercepted a total of 51 drones across several regions, including 18 in Tambov, 16 in Belgorod, and a smaller number over Bryansk, Lipetsk, Orel, and Voronezh regions, as well as one over Kursk and the Sea of Azov.

These claims cannot be independently verified.
