One Killed and One Injured in Russian Strike on Kharkiv Region
Russian forces have conducted an airstrike on Kharkiv using guided bombs, targeting residential areas and resulting in fatalities and significant property damage. Russia targeted Vilkhivka within the Kharkiv region, with initial reports indicating the direct impact on a residential building that led to the death of a 49-year-old woman. Medical assistance was provided to a 60-year-old man injured in the attack.
Mayor Ihor Terekhov confirmed the airstrikes and the extent of damage to several houses in the area. Authorities and investigative teams, including forensic specialists, were deployed to the scene to assess the situation and gather evidence.
Earlier today, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported multiple Russian attacks across various fronts in the Kharkiv region. Russian forces launched airstrikes using guided bombs (KABs) targeting locations such as Petropavlivka and Borschevaya, along with unguided aviation rockets (NARs) hitting Sin’kivka. These coordinated assaults are part of broader military actions supported by air cover over Kupiansk, Kharkiv region.
Ukrainian defenders have engaged in active combat near Novoselivka, Sin’kivka, and Kruhliakivka, successfully repelling four of the Russian assaults.
