Polish Farmers Set to Block Medyka-Shehyni Crossing Point With Ukraine

Polish farmers are once again planning to block the movement of trucks at the Medyka-Shehyni border crossing, Ukraine’s State Customs Service reported on October 8.

The protests could take place from October 8 to December 31.

Since November 2023, Polish farmers have intermittently blocked border crossings with Ukraine, demanding a ban on the import of agricultural products from Ukraine.

Latest protests took place on June 4, 2024, when Polish protestors blocked the Rava-Ruska-Hrebenne crossing point.
