According to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, throughout 2023, Russian forces received around 140,000 domestically produced drones. This year, they supposedly expect to acquire about 1,5 million drones.

Russian media report that they also plan to expand their range of unmanned aerial vehicles.

In total, Russian forces received approximately 100,000 to 140,000 drones of various types in 2023. This year, production is planned to increase almost tenfold, Putin stated.

According to the Kremlin leader, advanced technologies and new engineering solutions are allegedly being used in the creation of drones.

"By 2030, Russia will establish 48 specialized research and production centers for the design, testing, and production of unmanned aerial vehicles," the Russian dictator noted.
