Putin Confirms Test Launch of "Oreshnik" Medium-Range Ballistic Missile Against Ukraine

Russian leader Vladimir Putin announced that Russia had launched the latest ballistic hypersonic missile "Oreshnik" missile at Ukraine.

The announcement was made during his address on November 21.

Putin claimed it was a test launch of this "advanced missile." According to Putin, currently, there are no means to counter Russian "Oreshnik" missiles.

The details and technical specifications of "Oreshnik" missile are unknown.

Earlier, Ukrainian Air Forces reported that Russia launched an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) on the city of Dnipro, Ukraine, for the first time since the start of the full-scale invasion.
