Russia Bombards Odesa With Drones, Killing One Person and Injuring 13, Including Children
In the early hours of November 9, Russian forces launched a large-scale drone attack on Odesa and its suburbs, resulting in one death and 13 injuries, including two children.
According to the Odesa Regional Prosecutor’s Office and the State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine, the attack caused significant damage. Among the injured were two boys, aged 4 and 16.
The drone strikes targeted residential areas, damaging high-rise buildings, private homes, and a warehouse. At least ten cars were completely destroyed by fire.
Emergency services, including SES personnel and volunteers, worked through the night to mitigate the aftermath of the attack. Firefighters extinguished fires in residential buildings and at the warehouse, while SES psychologists provided assistance to 25 people, including one child.
