Youth groups are being formed in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine to be sent to Kursk region to "assist the affected Kursk residents," according to Ukrainian Center for National Resistance.

"This is yet another Kremlin propaganda stunt in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. ‘Volunteers’ are being packed into buses and sent under the pretext of helping the affected Kursk residents," the statement says.

According to the Center, local collaborator and head of the regional organization "Young Republic," Serhii Dobrovolsky, reports that at least a hundred young people are planned to be sent from the temporarily occupied areas of Donetsk region to Russia. "However, the Kremlin’s ally laments that they have not yet succeeded in carrying out this plan," the Center notes.

The Center for National Resistance also reports that the occupying authorities are holding small-scale rallies where "state employees and Russian performers are simulating support for the residents of Kursk region on camera."

It’s been reported previously that Russia is gathering information on Ukrainian children born in 2006 in areas temporarily occupied by Russian forces, with plans to potentially mobilize them into their military by 2025.

On the 6th of August, the Governor of Russia’s Kursk Region declared a state of emergency due to Ukrainian forces reportedly entering the region.
