Russia Hits Kharkiv With Geran-2 Drones and Guided Bomb, Killing One Person and Injuring Seven

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops launched attacks on six settlements in the Kharkiv region, killing one person and injuring seven others. The assault included the use of a guided aerial bomb, 14 Geran-2 drones, and four FPV drones

This was reported by the Head of the local Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, on May 28.

In Vasyshcheve village, four men aged 59, 51, and 43, along with a 4-year-old girl, were injured. In the village of Eskhar, an 85-year-old man was killed, while a 63-year-old man and a woman aged 71 and 63 sustained injuries.

In Kupiansk, a 67-year-old man was wounded. Additionally, a 40-year-old man was injured in Balakliia city after stepping on a landmine.

According to the official, Russian forces used various types of weapons across the Kharkiv region, including one guided aerial bomb, 14 Geran-2 drones and 4 FPV drones.

Overnight on May 26, Russia conducted its third consecutive large-scale aerial and drone assault on Ukraine, killing at least six people and injuring 24 across several regions.
